Whole Sesame Seed Tahini, Al Arz

Tahini is a ground sesame paste. The difference between one brand of tahini and the next is huge. Some can be claggy whilst others smooth and nutty. Al Arz is our go-to tahini. The wholemeal variety isn't as light in texture as normal tahini, but it is bigger in flavour. We prefer using light tahini for savoury sauces and dark tahini (wholemeal) for sweet. Try drizzling some over your next scoop of vanilla ice cream or a slice of grilled banana bread.
