Ras El Hanout

Ras El Hanout is a complex mix of spices that is found in various forms in Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. Ours is all about the balance of sweet and savoury – cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice compliment celery salt and white pepper. The term loosely translates as “top of the shop”. Rather than being a list of ingredients, Ras El Hanout serves as an open invitation for individuals, kitchens, and shopkeepers to showcase their finest spices. Stir into rice, couscous or add to tagines and casseroles.
