Hon Mirin, Takara

Hon Mirin is a sweet, alcoholic rice seasoning, made from rice, water and koji. Mirin is widely available but the difference between one brand and another is enormous. Always avoid mirin that use added corn syrups or preservatives - stick with Takara.
